Types of Financial Aid

Grants
Grants provide financial support that does not need to be repaid, helping students invest in their education, families, and future generations without taking on unnecessary debt.

Scholarships
Scholarships recognize achievement, leadership, culture, and community involvement while helping make higher education more accessible and affordable.

Federal & Work Study
Work-study provides students with valuable work experience while helping offset educational expenses. Eligible students can earn income through part-time employment on campus.

Important Information & Support
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
To remain eligible for financial aid, students must make satisfactory progress toward completing their program. SAP standards measure academic performance, including GPA, course completion rates, and progress toward graduation.

As a financial aid recipient, you have rights regarding your aid information and responsibilities for maintaining eligibility. Understanding these expectations helps ensure a smooth financial aid experience.
