HUM 110: Introduction to Humanities (3 Credits)
This course serves as a general introduction to the role that the humanities play in shaping human conception of self and society. It also serves to expand students’ knowledge of the human condition and human cultures, especially the values expressed in works of human imagination and thought. This is an interdisciplinary course that integrates history, literature, philosophy, theology, and fine arts with the goal of developing thinkers who are able to unify factual, creative, rational,
and value-sensitive modes of thought.
